We are operating on a ‘print social’ basis – what does that mean? Well, the crowdfunding platform allows small ventures like us to offer up merchandise, without having to take big financial risks. So, we set a deadline and a target order level – once the deadline rolls around, we see if we’ve reched the magic number and if so, we go ahead and commission a batch of our fantastic beanies. But, if we haven’t reached the target, then you get your money back and we have nothing to worry about other than a little egg on our face.

In the first instance, we will advise our designers of our order in the first week of April. That means the hats can be produced and shipped back to us in time for the beer festival. And with the Scottish weather being as unpredictable as it is, there’s a good chance you may need them on the day. We hope that we can get orders to you by the middle of May and we will let you know when the order has been processed, then again when it has been shipped.
